First Round Fact Check
The first round of the 2020 NFL Virtual Draft wrapped up Thursday night and if you were following our Mock Draft (https://basedinfact.com/2020/04/20/2020-nfl-draft/) you probably weren’t too surprised with who landed who, or the positions each team addressed. These 10 “bad’ picks reflect teams placing a high value on positions other than their most glaring needs, this category included a few mild surprises, but the biggest surprise came when the Green Bay Packers traded up to draft Utah State QB Jordan Love, instead of getting 36-year-old Aaron Rodgers some much needed help in the passing game.
- The Packers now have more QBs than they have reliable targets, with a lack of productive pass-catchers beyond Davante Adams.
