KrackenJack’s 2024 NFL Mock Draft
Projected trades signified by *, ^, and ˚
1 | Chicago Bears
PICK: Caleb Williams | QB | USC
Worst kept secret in the draft this year.
2 | Washington Commanders
PICK: Jayden Daniels | QB | LSU
Back-to-back Heisman trophy-winning quarterbacks would start this draft off in a big way.
3 | New England Patriots
PICK: Drake Maye | QB | UNC
Maye didn’t quite live up to the hype last season, but he did enough to retain his spot as one of the top passers in the draft.
4 | Minnesota Vikings*
PICK: JJ McCarthy | QB | Michigan
McCarthy may not have the gaudy statistics of the arms taken before him, but his accuracy, mobility, and potential makes him worth the developing. Being the starting quarterback of the reigning undefeated National Champion Wolverines should help his case too.
5 | Arizona Cardinals^
PICK: Marvin Harrison Jr. | WR | Ohio State
Need I say more? No, but I will. It would be very hard to see the Cardinals passing up arguably the most talented player in the draft at a position they desperately need… again. A three-team trade scenario between the Cardinals, Chargers, and Vikings, lands the former Buckeye in the desert.
6 | New York Giants
PICK: Malik Nabers | WR | LSU
Daniel Jones played the Giants out of a quarterback last year, and they’re likely stuck with him now. With four arms off the board already, the Giants land a star receiver for Jones, or maybe somebody else… it’s a long draft, anything can happen.
7 | Tennessee Titans
PICK: Joe Alt | OT | Notre Dame
Alt, Fashanu, Latham, or Fuaga. Regardless of the player, the Titans need to secure a cornerstone blindside blocker for Will Levis as he heads into his sophomore season.
8 | Atlanta Falcons
PICK: Dallas Turner | EDGE | Alabama
After making a free agency splash to bolster the offense, the Falcons use their first pick address the defense in a big way. Turner will be looking to “turn up” the heat on opposing QBs.
9 | Chicago Bears
PICK: Olu Fashanu | OT | Penn State
Justin Fields was sacked 44 times last season! 5th most in the league!! He only played in 13 games!!! If the Bears want to hold onto Caleb Williams for more than three sloppy seasons, then this needs to be fixed, and Fashanu could be the guy to do that for them.
10 | New York Jets
PICK: Brock Bowers | TE | Georgia
Bowers has the potential to be a matchup nightmare in the NFL and, if he still has something left, the Aaron Rodgers is a guy that can take full advantage of Bowers’ rare positional skillset.
11 | Los Angeles Chargers^
PICK: Taliese Fuaga | OT | Oregon State
It would be hard for the Chargers to pass up Washington’s Rome Odunze if he was available here, but the Jim Harbaugh knows that the ultimate key to success in football is a strong offensive line and has alluded to the line as a point of emphasis in the draft.
12 | Denver Broncos
PICK: Rome Odunze | WR | Washington
The Broncos are in dire need of a quarterback but lack the draft position and/or the resources to make it happen here. After trading away Jerry Jeudy after a disappointing start to the former Alabama star’s career, they can draft an exceptional replacement in Odunze.
13 | Las Vegas Raiders
PICK: Quinyon Mitchell | CB | Toledo
With Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins dominating the line, Mitchell would give the Raiders a talented playmaker in the secondary with elite potential.
14 | New Orleans Saints
PICK: JC Latham | OT | Alabama
Derek Carr is not getting any younger or any less hurt. Improving the offensive line would go a long way to keeping Carr upright and the Saints in playoff contention.
15 | Indianapolis Colts
PICK: Terrion Arnold | CB | Alabama
The Colts defense was absolutely ravenous last season, feasting on opposing quarterbacks 51 times (5thmost in the league). Adding Arnold on the backend could allow them to wreak even more havoc by blanketing receivers and capitalizing on mistakes created by their pressure.
16 | Seattle Seahawks
PICK: Laiatu Latu | EDGE | UCLA
Latu posted back-to-back double-digit sack seasons over his final two seasons in college, including 13 in 2023, good for fourth in the nation. The Seahawks are going through a lot of changes right now and drafting Latu would certainly make quite the statement for new head coach Mike Macdonald.
17 | Jacksonville Jaguars
PICK: Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | LSU
The Jaguars added Gabe Davis this offseason, but the option of drafting a receiver of this caliber may be too good to pass up.
18 | Cincinnati Bengals
PICK: Jared Verse | Edge | FSU
It never hurts to add a top tier edge rushing prospect in the NFL, especially in the always-competitive AFC North.
19 | Los Angeles Rams
PICK: Byron Murphy II | DT | Texas
Murphy would have some Aaron Donald-sized shoes to fill, but it’s hard to find anyone better than Murphy to give it a shot.
20 | Pittsburgh Steelers
PICK: Amarius Mims | OT | Georgia
After adding two of the top five most sacked quarterbacks last season, the Steelers should have the presence of mind to protect their new signal callers. Creating more space for Najee Harris would be a benefit as well.
21 | Miami Dolphins
PICK: Jackson Powers-Johnson | iOL | Oregon
After losing G Robert Hunt to the Panthers in free agency and C Connor Williams to a torn ACL at the end of last season, the Dolphins could really use some help on the interior of their offensive line. If all goes well, Powers-Johnson could be a long-term solution to their center needs.
22 | Philadelphia Eagles
PICK: Nate Wiggins | CB | Clemson
The speedy Wiggins could bring new life to a lackluster Eagles’ secondary.
23 | Arizona Cardinals*
PICK: Cooper DeJean | CB | Iowa
DeJean was a standout on an always-talented Iowa defense and was a key contributor on special teams too. DeJean is a good defensive fit for the Cardinals and contribute in other ways as well.
24 | Dallas Cowboys
PICK: Tyler Guyton | OT | Oklahoma
With Tyron Smith with the Jets in New York, the Cowboys could use another offensive tackle to bolster the line.
25 | Green Bay Packers
PICK: Troy Fautanu | OT | Washington
After a rocky start to the season, Jordan Love improved drastically and now looks to be entrenched as the starter for years to come. Keeping him healthy should be a key focus for the Packers.
26 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
PICK: Chop Robinson | EDGE | Penn State
After cutting Shaq Barrett this offseason, the Buccaneers are in good position to draft a replacement. Robinson didn’t have the statistical success of other pass rushers but his talent as a speed rusher is evident on tape.
27 | Denver Broncos˚
PICK: Michael Penix Jr. | QB | Washington
The Broncos pair their earlier pick with his star college quarterback, a boon for both of them. The Broncos give up a lot to move back into the first round, but not as much as they would have if they tried to move into the top five from their original spot at 12.
28 | Buffalo Bills
PICK: Adonai Mitchell | WR | Texas
The Bills let Gabe Davis walk this offseason and traded Stefon Diggs to the Texans. Mitchell could see himself as an instant starter on a playoff team lacking receiving talent.
29 | Detroit Lions
PICK: Darius Robinson | EDGE | Missouri
Big, strong, and aggressive. Just the kind of player that Dan Campbell loves, and he could help make life easier for superstar Aiden Hutchinson on the other side of the defensive line.
30 | Baltimore Ravens
PICK: Graham Barton | iOL | Duke
After losing G Kevin Zeitler in free agency, the Ravens could use another interior lineman to protect reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and pave the way for Derrick Henry to do some real damage in his first season as a Raven.
31 | San Francisco 49ers
PICK: Jer’Zhan “Johnny” Newton | DT | Illinois
After losing Armstead and Kinlaw to free agency, the 49ers get a steady reinforcement, in the form of this great Illinois defensive standout.
32 | Kansas City Chiefs
PICK: Xavier Worthy | WR | Texas
Surprise, surprise. The Chiefs land the fastest receiver in Combine history.
*- ARI sends Pick 4 to MIN for Pick 11 and Pick 23.
^- LAC sends Pick 5 to ARI for Pick 11 and Pick 27.
˚- LAC sends Pick 27 to DEN for Pick 76, Pick 145, 2025 1st round, and 2025 3rd round.
